Hey fans, we just wanted to give you a quick update on things. If you haven't yet, check out our new lyrics video for the song "As They Jam" on our home page. Let us know what you think via the Guestbook tab, and if you like it we'll plan on doing some of our other songs too.

We also are in the processing of looking for a new permanent drummer to join our group, so stay tuned for more info on that. Of course we are still writing new songs as well, and if things come together properly we will be hitting the studio again sometime this summer to work on our next album.

We are currently looking to add a keyboardist who can also help with backing vocals to our current line-up. Must be professional and have the desire to work with Spy Johnson. Thanks again to all of our fans who came out and supported us at O'Gara's last night. We all had a blast and look forward to doing our CD release show soon.

Yes that's right, 'Afterglow' is finally done and we are working on getting a CD release show so you all can get your copy. The CD sounds phenomenal and we are really excited about it! Stay tuned for more info coming soon.

We just wanted to thank all of our fans again for their support of the Nate Giller Productions event that we played at O'Gara's in St. Paul, MN on Saturday, July 17th. Venus on Fire and Chiefs of the North also rocked!

Our next scheduled gig will be an outdoor event in North Branch, MN. Check out out calendar tab for more info.

Our new CD, Afterglow, is being mastered as we speak! Stay tuned for more info about that soon. Thanks again for your support; without it we'd only be playing for the sound guy and bartender. :)

O'Gara's was a HUGE success!

First off, the band would like to thank each and every one of you that came out to see us play at O'Gara's on Thursday, April 1st. We had over 100 people show up to support us, which is why we do what we do.

We are finishing up the mixing on our new album, Afterglow, and hope to have it mastered soon! Keep checking back for more updates.

Spy Johnson has the BEST fans that any band could ask for so let's keep on rockin' with it!

Hey fans,

We are playing at Station 4 tonight (February 18th) which is located in downtown St. Paul, MN. We have some new songs on our set list, and we hope that you are as excited about them as we are. We also owe a huge "Thank You" to John Wethern for stepping in to play drums for this show.

Spy Johnson is really looking forward to seeing all of you at Station 4 tonight!

Studio/live show updates

Things are progressing well in the studio. All the music is timed up and other than some guitar parts with the Wah pedal, we should be finished with the instrumentation and ready for vocals!

Our next live show will be Thursday, February 18th at the infamous Station 4 in St. Paul, MN. We hope that you all can come out and watch four great bands play. Check out our calendar for more info about this and other upcoming shows.

Studio update

Hey guys, we just wanted to give you a quick update on how things are going in the studio. We just finished tracking drums and are moving onto instrumentation. We put up a few new pictures as well on our website and facebook pages. Check them out!

2010 is looking great! Thanks again to our fans for their support as it means the world to us! We wish you all a Happy New Year. 2010 is the year for Spy Johnson, and we hope that it will be yours as well. :)
